PROJECT OVERVIEW

Kennel & Co. is a family-owned pet food company that makes healthy, all-natural, and cutting-edge dog and cat food chews and treats. Two childhood friends who just wanted the best for their pets founded the company. It has now grown into a family of over 100 individuals, offering over 50 different types of food, treats, and chews. They consider pets to be members of the family, and as such, only the best products should be used on them. Their purpose is to provide pet owners with products on which they can trust and feel good about giving to their animal family members.

Clients wanted a visually appealing, user-friendly website with an industry-specific design. Furthermore, Kennel & Co. wanted to focus on SEO optimization because they wanted to rank better on Google to boost their ROI. Unfortunately, their website was clogged with material, making it difficult for users to navigate.

During the discovery phase, we set numerous goals for the redesign by interacting with key stakeholders and performing a detailed study of their present website. One goal was to boost interactivity and the amount of time visitors spent on the website. Another goal was to boost the number of repeat visits by providing them a reason to come back to the website. The third goal was to make it simple for visitors to choose the right item for their pet and urge them to buy it. One of the things we noticed during the investigative process was the crucial role Kennel & Co. had in educating pet owners about what was best for their dogs by providing a range of material on their blog. Unfortunately, the blog's design was unappealing, crowded, and confusing, making it difficult for users to access fresh content.
